On April 2nd in Paris,

the 4th edition of the SNITEM CSR Symposium took place. It was an opportunity for Virginie Delay to highlight the Sustainable Medical Devices Index (Index DM Durable – IDMD), a benchmark tool co-developed with C2DS and SNITEM to evaluate the environmental and social impact of medical devices.

⭢ Based on the AFNOR SPEC methodology, the tool ensures reliability and comparability across all industry stakeholders.

  • Reliability:

Provides an objective market comparison thanks to a methodology recognized by industry experts.

  • Social Criteria:

Working conditions, inclusion, and diversity are now fully integrated.

  • Competitive Advantage:

Tangible recognition of eco-design value for procurement departments and buyers.

3 priorities presented to accelerate adoption

  • 1.

    Training field teams:

Sales representatives and medical liaisons must master the IDMD to meet the specific requirements of public and private tenders.

  • 2.

    Supporting buyers:

Engaging through collaborative workshops and webinars to ensure a gradual and co-constructed adoption of the Index.

  • 3.

    European ambition:

Promoting this standard beyond French borders to harmonize CSR practices on a larger scale.

CSR is no longer an isolated option; it is a strategic management tool for your future projects.

SGH Medical Pharma is committed to continuous training, support, and innovation to ensure that sustainability becomes the standard for the entire industry.
