Launch Ceremony

Through a warm ceremony attended by partners, local officials, and our teams, we officially broke ground on the extension of our Stiplastics production plant in Saint-Marcellin.

This is a milestone for our Group, confirming our local roots and our commitment to the region’s industrial development.

  • 2 419 m²

Surface area of the new building

  • €2.6 M

    Investment for the extension

  • €8.285 M

Total invested in the site since 2014 (prior to extension)

A building designed for performance and scalability

The future facility will meet ICPE 1510 regulatory standards, featuring a concrete structure tailored to fire safety requirements and the high storage load demands of the medical sector. It is also designed to accommodate solar panel installations in the future.

"A building must meet an immediate need, but also leave room for the next step. That is exactly what this project is about: supporting Stiplastics’ growth with a robust, scalable solution that remains compatible with the constraints of an active site."

— Bonhomme Bâtiment

A morning to mark the launch

The ceremony brought together all project stakeholders for a friendly breakfast. The program included:

  • Opening remarks by Olivier Derouard (President of the SGH Group), representatives and mayors from the Saint-Marcellin Isère Communauté, and Christophe Bonhomme (President of Bonhomme Bâtiment).
  • The official “ribbon-cutting”, marking the symbolic start of construction.
  • A factory tour, providing an immersive look at our technical expertise.

This project is part of a continuous growth trajectory, driven by the trust of our regional partners, the support of local institutions, and the dedication of the SGH Medical Pharma teams.
