Your main missions
Reporting to the workshop manager and working under the operational supervision of the two-shift team leaders, your primary responsibility will be to assemble molds and make the necessary adjustments to ensure smooth production operations.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
- Assemble and disassemble molds
- Ensure smooth operations in terms of productivity, safety, and quality
- Make adjustments and/or calibrate equipment based on observed deviations
- Initiate production runs or restart machines
- Conduct visual and metrological quality checks at the start of each production order and during shift handoffs, as specified in the work instructions
- Respond to machine alarms and requests for assistance from operators or the quality department
- Maintain the overall condition of all equipment and the work environment
- Receive handover instructions from the previous shift and ensure a smooth handover to the next setter
- Complete the required documentation at the start, during, and end of production
- Manage internal re-certifications
Qualifications
- Education: Vocational diploma in plastics technology or equivalent experience
- Technical skills: Knowledge of basic machine and mold maintenance; experience with Arburg, Engel, and Haitian injection molding machines and Wittmann robots is preferred
- Key qualities: Analytical skills, attention to detail, willingness to perform manual labor, responsiveness, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team
