Reporting to the Finance and Administration Director, in a multi-site environment, you will be responsible for proposing and implementing IT strategy, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of information systems. Listening closely to operational staff, you will act as a true business partner.

Your challenges to succeed in this position:

Strategy

  • Define and implement a master plan
  • Analyze needs in line with strategic objectives
  • Make proposals to operational departments and support functions for process optimization.

 

IS Operation and Performance

  • Ensure day-to-day operation of IS
  • Assess and anticipate user needs
  • Implement a security policy
  • Deal with malfunctions and requests for improvement
  • Monitor regulatory and technological developments
  • Qualify and validate information systems in accordance with ISO 13485 requirements

 

Project management

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional development projects

 

Budget and Resource Management

  • Supervise the IS team: 3 people to be managed
  • Determine and manage the budget required to implement the IT policy
  • Manage and rationalize hardware and software acquisitions
  • Select and manage relationships with service providers, in particular the outsourcer

 

Particularity of the position: travel required in the Rhône-Alpes region (1 day per week on average).

 

Skills required

  • BAC + 5 in Management of Information Systems, Business Computing
  • 5 years’ experience in the IT department of an industrial company, with a global vision of the service. SME/ETI experience would be a plus, as well as management experience.
  • Understanding of the company’s businesses – User needs and constraints
  • Mastery of project management and Information Systems Validation techniques
  • Professional English
  • Computer skills – mastery of CEGID PMI, Silver CS and/or VBA, VBS and SQL would be a plus
  • Strong interest in technologies
