Reporting to the finishing workshop, specialized in the pad printing of pipettes and the assembly of pipettes and pistons, you will ensure the smooth running of the inking and assembly production machines, while complying with quality, hygiene, safety and environmental regulations, internal rules and procedures as defined by the company.

As such, your main tasks will be:

• Intervention on machines
  •  Perform version changes
  • Carry out adjustments and/or fine-tuning according to deviations observed, in order to obtain compliant parts.
  • Intervene at the request of operators or the quality department to deal with production-related problems
  • Empty or check machines at the end of each production run.
  • Keep the workshop clean and tidy, and machines running smoothly
  • Participate in troubleshooting with the department manager or maintenance department

• Production control
  • Ensure on-time production start-ups, providing support to line operators as needed.
  • Promote team performance
  • Alert manager and quality department to any anomalies or quality drifts
  • Alert the workshop manager to technical malfunctions and suggest any measures likely to improve quality, productivity, working conditions, safety and workstations.
  • Organize, monitor and participate in the sorting of non-conforming parts.

• Additional tasks
  • Organize and coordinate the activities of a small team of 2 to 5 line operators to ensure the smooth running of production.
  • Replace operators during breaks or any other reason for absence, and apply control and packaging instructions available at the workstation
  • Replace the finishing workshop manager in case of absence, if necessary.
  • Participate in the integration (welcome, information, training) of new arrivals at the request of the team manager or any other person.
  • Participate in meetings or work groups.
  • Carry out any additional task normally related to his/her function or compatible with his/her know-how, necessary for the smooth running of the company and within the limits of his/her available time.
  • Respect and ensure respect for the plant’s environmental rules (waste sorting, dumping, etc.).
  • Respect and ensure respect for safety rules (wearing PPE, following instructions, etc.).

Profil required 

• Education & experience
  • You have a technical background in mechanics, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance or equivalent, and significant experience in an industrial environment, in the marking or inking professions, or in a maintenance department.

• Personal skills 
  • You are autonomous, pragmatic, rigorous, curious and analytical.
  • You are a team player with good communication skills, and you strive for industrial performance while guaranteeing product conformity.
  • You are a positive person, and enjoy sharing your experience.
  • You’re known for your interpersonal skills and you’re a good listener.

• Technical skills 
  • Good knowledge of pad printing and/or screen printin
  • Electro-technical background
  • Ability to acquire and assimilate new technologies
