Your missions
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure that quality standards are applied in the field and that processes are properly monitored.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Quality animation
- Maintain regular communication with technical teams and continuously improve products and processes
- Train operators and share technical, QHSE and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) best practices with them
- Participate in the integration of new production employees
- Ensure compliance with QHSE and GMP procedures, as well as maintaining clean and tidy work areas
- Check batch records and approve manufactured batches
- Keep production quality indicators up to date
- Report any difficulties to your manager
- Production quality
- Conduct product checks at workstations in accordance with control documents
- Conduct tests and trials on manufactured products
- Verify that the control and recording actions carried out by operators and technicians are performed correctly
- Participate in drafting production control ranges
- Organise sorting operations
- Participate in problem-solving groups
- Quality control upon receipt
- Perform and record checks on incoming products in accordance with control documents
- Validate the conformity of the received products and documentation (components, materials and subcontracting) and release batches
- Participate in drafting control ranges upon receipt
- Conduct tests and trials on received products
- Metrology monitoring
- Monitoring of the measuring instrument fleet (calibrations and checks)
- Ensuring the traceability and metrological compliance of production equipment
- Monitor environmental conditions
- Verify compliance with quality requirements regarding environmental conditions (e.g. noise levels and cleanliness)
- Conduct regular on-site inspections and document any discrepancies
- Collaborate with the technical and HSE teams if any deviations are identified
- Waste monitoring
Required profile
- Education and experience
- You have a two-year degree in Quality Management or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Personal qualities
- You are organised, rigorous and analytical, and you have a strong ability to work across different departments
- Technical skills
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 15378 and ISO 14001 standards
- Plastics processing knowledge
