We currently have an exciting opportunity for you as a Controlling Manager to join our team, based in either Lyon (69) or Saint-Marcellin (38).

As the right-hand man of the Group Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key role. Your role will involve supervising and training a small team of business partners, providing management and operational staff with visibility of the group’s performance and recommendations for action at operational and strategic levels.

In this role, your main tasks will be to:

  • Operations Performance Partner: define and implement the right KPIs, identify and propose improvement actions, help prioritise spending and investments (ROI calculations, etc.).
  • Business and R&D partners: produce hourly rates and profitability calculations for customer quotations. Then, track their execution throughout the project, alongside project-related expenditure and investment. Ensure the reliability of short- and medium-term sales forecasts.
  • Partner with management to steer the budget process, monitor its execution and report on it, and propose corrective measures and re-forecasts.
  • Value inventories: monitor their evolution with stakeholders and determine any depreciation.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to inform decision-making and ensure the efficient management of the Group.

 

Required skills

  • BAC+5 in Finance
  • With 7 to 15 years’ experience in finance, including at least three years in industrial management control
  • Has an excellent understanding of industrial company profitability and return on investment calculations
  • Experienced in working with ERP and analytical tools (BI, etc.)
  • Professional English
  • Managerial experience is an advantage
  • Experience of working in an SME, ETI or small team would be an advantage
