You will be the right hand of the Group Chief Financial Officer. You will supervise and train a small team of “business partners” to provide management and operational staff with visibility of the Group’s performance and recommendations for action at both operational and strategic levels.
As such, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Partner operations performance
- Define and implement the right KPIs
- Identify and propose improvement actions
- Help prioritise expenses and investments (ROI calculations…)
- Sales and R&D partners
- Produce hourly rates and profitability calculations for customer quotations
- Monitor their execution over the life of the project, as well as project-related expenses and investments
- Ensure the reliability of short- and medium-term sales forecasts
- Partner to management
- Manage the budget process
- Monitor and report on budget execution and propose corrective measures and re-forecasts
- Value inventories
- Monitor their evolution with stakeholders and determine any depreciation
- Carry out any ad hoc financial analysis to enable a decision to be taken or to ensure efficient management of the Group.
Skills required
- BAC + 5 in Finance
- 7 to 15 years’ experience in finance, including at least 3 in industrial management control
- Excellent understanding of industrial company profitability and return on investment calculations
- Experience of working with ERP and analytical tools (BI…)
- Professional English
- Managerial experience is a plus
- Experience of working in a SME, ETI or small team is a plus
