Reporting to the Injection Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in team management and workshop performance.

In this capacity, your main missions will be:

On the technical side: following the schedule drawn up by the Injection Workshop Manager

• Be responsible for the production of his team in terms of safety, productivity and quality
• Check the availability and conformity of manufacturing documents at each workstation; alert the Injection
• Workshop Manager or Quality Department if necessary.
• Note material batch traceability on the production order.
• Ensure that production start-ups and shutdowns run smoothly, in accordance with current instructions.
• Anticipate and coordinate production changeovers with the logistics department: clean peripherals and work areas.
• Start production and check 1st parts.
• Carry out adjustments and/or make adjustments in the event of deviations
• Respond to machine alarms and requests for intervention from operators or the quality department
• Maintain the general condition of work equipment (molds/presses/peripherals)
• Suggest areas for improvement to your line manager

On the management side

• Train and support new arrivals (temps, new recruits, etc.)
• Ensure smooth transfer of instructions between teams, and pass on important information from the team to the Workshop Manager.
• Respect and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and waste sorting rules.
• Ensure a good social climate within the team
• Organize your team at the start of each shift: task allocation, breaks, adjustments to take account of unforeseen circumstances.
• Identify and report team-related malfunctions (absences, lateness, behavior, etc.).

Profile required 

• Proven experience in plastic injection molding (minimum 5 years), ideally with initial team management experience.
• Knowledge of 1st level machine/mold maintenance
• Proficiency with Arburg, Engel, Haitian, Demag presses and Wittmann robots
• Proficiency with IT tools
• Ability to make decisions quickly and independently.
• Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills, communication, team spirit and natural leadership.
