As a Finishing Workshop Technician, you will ensure the smooth operation of inking and assembly production machines in compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental regulations, internal rules and procedures as defined by the company.
As such, your main tasks will be:
- Production start-up
- Ensure production start-ups
- Carry out version changes and adjustments to ensure part conformity
- Empty or check machines at the end of each production run
- Keep the workshop clean and tidy, and machines in good working order
- Production control
- Promote team performance
- Alert the manager and the quality department in the event of anomalies or quality drift
- Alert the workshop manager to technical malfunctions and suggest any measures likely to improve quality, productivity, working conditions, safety and workstations
- Intervene at the request of operators or the quality department to deal with production-related problems
- Organize, monitor and participate in the sorting of non-conforming parts.
- Additional tasks
- Replace operators during breaks or any other reason for absence, and apply control and packaging instructions available at the workstation
- If necessary, replace the finishing workshop manager in case of absence
- Participate in the integration (welcome, information, training) of new arrivals at the request of the team manager or any other person
- Participate in meetings or work groups
- Carry out any additional tasks normally related to his/her function or compatible with his/her know-how, necessary for the smooth running of the company and within the limits of his/her available time
- Respect and ensure respect for the plant’s environmental rules (waste sorting, dumping, etc.)
- Respect and ensure respect for safety rules (wearing PPE, complying with instructions, etc.)
Profil required
- Education & experience
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ higher education in a technical field, and at least 5 years’ significant experience in an industrial environment, in the marking or inking professions, or in a maintenance department
- Personal skills
- You are autonomous, pragmatic, rigorous and curious, and you have a flair for analysis
- You are a team player with good communication skills, and you strive for industrial performance while guaranteeing product conformity
- You’re a positive person who likes to share your experience.
- Technical skills
- Good knowledge of pad printing and/or screen printin
- Electro-technical background
- Ability to acquire and assimilate new technologies
- Managerial skills
- You are recognized for your interpersonal skills
- You listen to your colleagues and know how to organize a team of 2 to 5 people
