In a context of strong growth for the Group, you will support the acceleration of our medical device sales by developing markets in line with our sales strategy in France.
As such, your main responsibilities will be to:
Prospecting for new customers and new markets within the assigned perimeter
- Propose business growth targets in line with the company’s ambitions, respecting its economic criteria of profitability and product portfolio balance
- Ensure targeted and sustained prospecting
- Open new accounts and develop existing accounts in the territory
- Develop the sales structure in favour of priority product ranges
- Make proposals to direct prospecting efforts
Manage assigned customers
- Regularly visit all customers in the different markets in the region
- Continuously improve our customers’ knowledge and image of the company
- Provide the support departments with the information (technical or commercial) necessary for their activities
- Draw up quotations in accordance with the company’s margin policy and approved by the Sales Manager
- Follow up, monitor and process quotations
Provide a sales service that meets customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with the customer contract at all times (prices, quantities, deadlines, etc.)
- Act as a point of contact for the central departments of assigned customers
- Quickly intervene in the event of disputes and payment problems
Gather and report internal and external information
- Comply with the sales department’s reporting requirements, in particular by providing the required activity reports on time and updating the CRM
- Feed back market/customer information obtained from publications, trade shows, meetings or other venues in conjunction with the marketing team
Participate in company planning activities
- Prepare budgets within the framework set by the company
- Provide feedback for production planning
Required qualifications
- 3 to 5 years’ higher education in commerce/business school
- 3-10 years’ experience in a similar role
- Industrial experience (plastics, medical devices or pharmaceuticals)
- Proficiency in sales and prospecting techniques
- Fluent English
